This winter the Pryes patio transforms into a sauna sanctuary! Soak in the steam and heat for some self-care, quality time with friends or as a magical way to celebrate a special occasion and warm up your winter.
Cabanas include 6-8-person, authentic nordic saunas from Superior Sauna & Steam available to rent for private parties or self-care, as well as community steam experiences. Cabanas will also include cold showers, plus private bonfire lounges for a rejuvenating rustic sauna spa vibe.

Private cabanas are $275 each and are available to book Thursday – Sunday evenings.
1 towel per person is included with ticket.
Rentals are for up to 90 minutes.
Group/community steam hours are also available - $40 per ticket.

New Sauna Beverages
Adding to the experience, we’ve brewed a specialty sauna beer, Kallio — named after the hip, bohemian neighborhood in Helsinki — a limited-edition, aggressively hopped Pilsner brewed with Nordic yeast that will make you say “Vau!” (that’s wow in Finnish!)
Plus, we’re debuting Pryes Hop Water — a refreshing, nonalcoholic carbonated hop water infused with citrus and lemon-lime effervescence.
These beverages and delicious food items from the Pryes kitchen can be delivered right to your cabana to be enjoyed outside your sauna rental.

Who is Superior Sauna & Steam?
Superior Sauna & Steam (based in Ashland, WI) provides custom sauna solutions for residential and commercial sauna builds. In November 2023, Superior launched The Yard, located in the Kingfield Neighborhood of Minneapolis, to serve as their Sauna Showroom and experiential space. Sauna enthusiasts can also find Superior Sauna Events & Experiences at their various residency locations such as Pryes Brewing.
What should I bring for my sauna reservation?
Bathing suit or athletic wear (ie. sports bra, shorts and/or pants)
Easy to slip on / off sandals, flip flops and / or slippers (ie. Crocs, Birkenstocks, Keen, etc.)
Water bottle
(Optional) Robe (1x towel included in reservation / for use during sauna session)
What kind of bathing suit should I wear?
We encourage guests to wear whatever they feel most comfortable sweating in. All guests are welcome to wear sports bra + athletic shorts / pants in place of a bathing suit.
Where do I go when I arrive?
The Pryes Brewing X Superior Sauna Experience is located outdoors, directly in front of the Pryes Brewing building. When you first enter the sauna area, a Superior Sauna Host will greet you / your group. The Check-in station is located inside the first Mod Pod / Pryes Cabana sauna unit on the right upon entering the outdoor sauna space.
What time should I arrive for my reservation?
It’s best to arrive 15-minutes prior to your scheduled session time. This creates some room for you / your group to check in with the Superior Host, change before your session starts, and enjoy more time experiencing the quality heat in the sauna.

What is Community Steam?
A casual hosted sauna experience with access to the various saunas and bonfire lounge. Guests are encouraged to flow as they wish in and out of the saunas, while sharing space with other sauna obsessed Community Steam guests to the Pryes X Superior experience.
How hot will the saunas be?
The saunas are heated to temperatures between 176-200 degrees fahrenheit. Guests are always welcome to speak with their Superior Sauna Host to make adjustments to the heat temperature.
Is there water available on site?
YES! There is a hydration station to the right of the Host Check-In. Guests can also order water by scanning the Pryes QR codes located on the surrounding tables throughout the sauna space.
Can I bring Pryes food and/or beer into the sauna?
We only allow closed containers of rehydrating beverages like water, electrolytes, and other similar options inside the sauna. Pryes food and beverage is not allowed inside the sauna for sanitation purposes.
Do you offer group bookings and take-overs?
Yes! Guests can reserve a Superior Mod 6 / Pryes Cabana unit (6x person capacity) for 90-minute Private Group Bookings. To accommodate larger groups / host a take-over event, please email events@superiorsaunas.com.
Are kids allowed?
Yes! Bring the kids for family sauna time! No reservation required for children under the age of 13. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
What does accessibility like for people with disabilities or physical differences?
The saunas available for the Pryes Brewing X Superior Saunas Experience are NOT wheelchair accessible. If you or someone in your group requires greater accessibility, please call or email (612)-986-2397 paige@superiorsaunas.com ahead of time to discuss how we can accommodate your visit.
What is the booking cancellation policy?
We require 24-hour notice of cancellation in order to issue a full refund. The sooner you can let us know the better! Please email events@superiorsaunas.com to reschedule or request a refund.
